About the park

Pritchard Park is 34 acres of rolling woodland in the middle of Chapel Hill and the site of Chapel Hill Public Library. Purchased in 1988 as a site for a public library, recreation, and open space, the park is home to Explore More at Pritchard Park, paved and natural walking trails, School House Creek, public art, musical instruments, and benches for relaxing in nature or observing the sky.
