Built in 2019 with support from the Triangle Community Foundation, our outdoor classroom is a shaded gathering spot just off the paved trail behind the library. It features a gravel clearing, rustic lean-to, stone seating wall, and a view of School House Creek. We use this space for library programs like outdoor story time and Meet the Creek, but when it’s not in use, it’s a great place to relax, read, or enjoy a snack.
