University Place lockers

Pick up your library holds anytime — 24/7!

Can’t make it to the library during open hours? Prefer a quick, contact-free pickup without parking or walking in? Try our 24/7 lockers at University Place!

The lockers are located outside at 201 S Estes Drive, next to Planet Fitness and across from Harris Teeter, and are available even during mall construction. Library staff visit the lockers to fulfill holds and empty the book return once a day.

Using the lockers

  1. Place a hold 
     Use our online catalog and select “University Place Lockers” as your pickup location. If you don’t see pickup location options, update your single-click hold preferences.
  2. Wait for a notification 
     You’ll get an email when your items are ready to pick up.
  3. Go to the lockers
    Head over to University Place. Scan your library card or enter your card number. The locker door will open automatically.
  4. Grab your items and close the door 
     That’s it! You’re good to go. Happy reading!
