Travel 3.6 billion miles from the Sun to Pluto without leaving Pritchard Park! Our Solar System Walk, created in partnership with Morehead Planetarium, will be available from April 10-30.

Join us in Pritchard Park for a series of guided family nature walks, led by ecoEXPLORE Education Specialist Adam Prince.

What to expect: A leisurely walk over paved and natural trails with stops along the way to explore the plants and animals of Pritchard Park.

For kids in grades K-8. Registration required.

Did you know we have almost 40 species of snakes in North Carolina? Come learn about the common ones for our area and then we will go for a walk and see if we can find any in the wild!
