Winter weather closure

Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24: The library is currently scheduled to be open regular hours. 

Sunday, January 25 and Monday, January 26: Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed due to hazardous winter weather forecasts. All programs are cancelled. If you have items due soon, please hold on to them if possible. For updates on library hours and programs Tuesday and beyond, please check our website and social media.

Event Details

Grab your gloves and pitch in to improve our Pritchard Park ecosystem. We'll dig out invasive species, plant trees & perennials, and maintain trails in the park. Bring appropriate gloves and attire for working outdoors across uneven terrain. Volunteer days take place on Saturday mornings once a month.
