Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed December 24–28. We'll be open for regular hours on December 29–30. The library will close early at 6pm on December 31 and will be closed on January 1.

Event Details

Led by the Orange County Department on Aging, this four-part series is designed to provide basic information about dementia to individuals with memory concerns, caregivers, family members, friends, and interested community members. Each week will focus on a different topic related to dementia. 

  • Wednesday, January 10 - Session 1: Brain Health, 10 am-12 pm
  • Wednesday, January 17 - Session 2: Types & Stages of Dementia, 10 am-12 pm
  • Wednesday, January 24 - Session 3: Communication, 10 am-12 pm
  • Wednesday, January 31 - Session 4: Preparing for the Journey Ahead, 10 am-12 pm
