Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24: The library is currently scheduled to be open regular hours. 

Sunday, January 25 and Monday, January 26: Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed due to hazardous winter weather forecasts. All programs are cancelled. Program Description

Event Details

Led by the Orange County Department on Aging, this four-part series is designed to provide basic information about dementia to individuals with memory concerns, caregivers, family members, friends, and interested community members. Each week will focus on a different topic related to dementia. 

  • Thursday, January 9 - Session 1: Brain Health
  • Thursday, January 16 - Session 2: Types & Stages of Dementia
  • Thursday, January 23 - Session 3: Communication
  • Thursday, January 30 - Session 4: Preparing for the Journey Ahead
