Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24: The library is currently scheduled to be open regular hours.
Sunday, January 25 and Monday, January 26: Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed due to hazardous winter weather forecasts. All programs are cancelled. If you have items due soon, please hold on to them if possible. For updates on library hours and programs Tuesday and beyond, please check our website and social media.

Red Wolf Recovery Program at Alligator River National Wildlife Reserve
The Red Wolf is the world's most endangered canid, with fewer than 300 left in existence. The only wild population, with fewer than 19 wolves, exists in Eastern North Carolina. Their recovery has a complex history and management.
