Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24: The library is currently scheduled to be open regular hours. 

Sunday, January 25 and Monday, January 26: Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed due to hazardous winter weather forecasts. All programs are cancelled. If you have items due soon, please hold on to them if possible. For updates on library hours and programs Tuesday and beyond, please check our website and social media.

We’re having a Sun Party! A solar eclipse is an amazing and rare opportunity that you won’t want to miss! An eclipse of the Sun occurs when the Moon moves between the Sun and Earth.
