ReEntry Simulation

In partnership with NC PROWD and the Chapel Hill Public Library, this powerful community event invites you to step into to shoes of someone navigating the complex journey of reentry after incarceration. Experiencing the reentry journey deepens our understanding and sparks new ideas to better support those returning to our communities.

Attendees will attempt to navigate their way through various agencies while trying to remain compliant with community supervision, take care of personal needs, and satisfy family obligations. Through an immersive and eye-opening experience, participants will gain deeper insight into the barriers faced by justice-involved individuals as they work to rebuild their lives. 

Whether you are part of a faith-based group committed to second chances, workforce development professional, policymaker, elected official, or a family member or friend of someone who has been justice involved - this event is for you! Join us as we walk together toward understanding, compassion, and stronger community solutions.
