Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed December 24–28. We'll be open for regular hours on December 29–30. The library will close early at 6pm on December 31 and will be closed on January 1.

Outdoor explorers of all ages are invited to join us for a relaxed morning in Pritchard Park on Sunday, June 4, between 10 am and 12 pm to Meet the Creek!

Grab some samples in a dip net, gaze through a hand lens, or go on a water scavenger hunt—together we will explore the species that live in School House Creek that indicate a healthy water environment. 

We’ll meet down by the creek, be sure to bring clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a little bit wet. Library staff will be on hand to help you Explore More!
