Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24: The library is currently scheduled to be open regular hours. 

Sunday, January 25 and Monday, January 26: Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed due to hazardous winter weather forecasts. All programs are cancelled. If you have items due soon, please hold on to them if possible. For updates on library hours and programs Tuesday and beyond, please check our website and social media.

Chapel Hill Public Library warmly invites community members of all ages to celebrate Lunar New Year with us. Community members are welcome to bring a favorite Lunar New Year dish and/or a meaningful object that holds New Year memories, and to share the story behind it with the group.
