Program Description

Event Details

Chapel Hill Public Library warmly invites community members of all ages to celebrate Lunar New Year with us. Community members are welcome to bring a favorite Lunar New Year dish and/or a meaningful object that holds New Year memories, and to share the story behind it with the group. 

Enjoy cultural demonstrations and hands-on workshops exploring Sino traditions, including a Lion Dance performance and workshop, a Kung Fu tea demonstration, calligraphy, and more.
