Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24: The library is currently scheduled to be open regular hours. 

Sunday, January 25 and Monday, January 26: Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed due to hazardous winter weather forecasts. All programs are cancelled. Join us for a special author event featuring local author, farmer, and owner of Sankofa Farms, Kamal Bell. In his new book, Akeem Keeps Bees, the author shares the basics of beekeeping with young readers over the course of a year on the real-life apiary of Sankofa Farms. At the event, you can buzz on over to the Orange County Beekeepers Association table to learn even more about bees! Books will be for sale at the event from Flyleaf Books.
