IMAGINING THE FUTURE OF ART MUSEUMS
Around the world people are creating and reimaging the museum. What new ideas are being explored? And how can we be part of it?
Join us on September 24th from 4:30-5:30 to imagine new futures for museums with revered cultural strategist András Szántó, PhD. Exploring insights from his books, "The Future of the Museum: 28 Dialogues" and "Imagining the Future Museum: 21 Dialogues with Architects," the New York-based author will share how visual-arts institutions are working to assert their relevance in the 21st century through new approaches to exhibitions, programming, audience engagement, organizational innovation, and architecture and design. Presented in partnership with UNC Arts & Humanities.
