Program Description

Event Details

Are you a rockhound? Join geologist Amy Pitts as she explores rocks, minerals, and fossils! You'll learn about the different types of minerals, rocks, and fossils found in North Carolina and even get to take a look at some cool specimens, including a megalodon shark tooth! If weather permits, we'll go outside to put our rock detective skills to the test. Geared toward ages 6-12, but all are welcome to join.
