Event Details
Hunter Beattie, owner of Endswell: A Modern Funeral Home, will offer a presentation on emerging trends in end-of-life care, specifically environmentally friendly options. Topics will include green burial, aquamation (water cremation), anatomical gift programs, and general tips and tricks when working with a funeral home. We will discuss the history of the funeral industry, the death care practices of our ancestors, and emerging trends in end-of-life care that are more environmentally conscious. Attendees will also hear from a guest estate attorney who will discuss estate planning, wills, trusts, and important documents related to end-of-life planning.
