Winter weather closure

Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24: The library is currently scheduled to be open regular hours. 

Sunday, January 25 and Monday, January 26: Chapel Hill Public Library will be closed due to hazardous winter weather forecasts. All programs are cancelled. If you have items due soon, please hold on to them if possible. For updates on library hours and programs Tuesday and beyond, please check our website and social media.

Event Details

All are welcome to come to the annual showcase of the James Cates Scholars! 

This year's showcase will feature photography, artistic presentations, as well as deep dives into local history by the Scholars.

Registration encouraged, but not required.
